Online Distance Running Coach

(5K - 14.53, Half Marathon - 1.09, Marathon - 2.28)

I’m a London-born endurance runner and distance coach from Teddington – a place steeped in running heritage and home to what I like to call the Rolls Royce of running parks, Bushy Park.
Growing up here meant being surrounded by some of the best runners in the world, and that environment shaped how I think about training, consistency, and human potential.
Before I found running, my childhood revolved around playing hockey at a high level, as well as wakeboarding after school. Sport was always part of my life, but when I moved to Liverpool for university, I slowly fell out of love with team sports. The structure faded, and I drifted into a period of heavy drinking, lack of focus, and feeling lost. I had no real athletic direction - and no real sense of myself.
Everything changed in lockdown. In 2020, I challenged myself to run 7 miles a day for 7 days to raise money for Princess Alice Hospice, a charity close to my heart. Somewhere in those quiet solo miles, I rediscovered purpose. Running became my anchor, the thing that brought structure back into my life. That one week challenge turned into a lifelong passion - and the rest is history.
Since then, I’ve thrown myself into the sport with absolute dedication. I’ve trained in some of the world’s most iconic running environments - altitude camps in Iten and Morzine, warm-weather training in Monte Gordo, Albufueria and Cape Town. I’ve been part of multiple club systems including Kent AC and Stagglers AC. Been coached by some of the best coaches in the country - as well as becoming one of the track coaches at Peckham Pacers (London) & Club Rodeo (Barcelona) myself more recently. Here I am six years later, having left my high-paying career in Investment Management to become a full-time coach for the sport I love, living between Cape Town and Barcelona to surround myself with the best runners and training destinations in the world.
Along the way, I’ve improved my personal bests from:
  • 22:17 —> 14:53 for 5K
  • 53.11 —> 32.11 for 10k
  • 1:42 —> 1:09 for the Half Marathon
  • 2:59 —> 2:28 for the Marathon
I’ve completed 7 x Marathons (as well as breaking sub 2.30), broken sub 70 mins for the half twice, ran sub 15 mins for the 5k, raced overseas in Copenhagen, Valencia, Barcelona, and New York, and have been invited to compete in brand events and races around the world for Nike, Saucony, and Puma.
As a coach, I bring all of this experience - the highs, the lows, the structure, the rebirth - into how I work with athletes.
I’ve supported runners to everything from their first marathon to major breakthroughs, including sub-4, sub-3, and sub-2:40 marathon performances. And have helped multiple athletes crack the formidable sub 20 5k barrier for the first time!
My philosophy centres on individualisation, consistency, and making elite-level principles accessible for any runner willing to put in the work around busy lives. At Momentum, we believe long-term consistency beats short-term intensity; focusing on confidence, durability, and longevity - so you can keep enjoying the sport you love for years to come.
Whether you’re starting from scratch, coming back from a rough patch, or chasing the next big leap (championship entry, Boston Qualifier etc), I’ll help you train smarter, stay accountable, and discover what you’re truly capable of.
